Wednesday, April 1st: EDGE Night "Love Your Enemies" in the hall from 6:30-8pm. Here's the outline for the night:

-Music & Prayer
-Newbs and Bdays
-Lesson: Matt
-Witness Talk: Shelley
-Small groups. The questions will be:
--Have you ever had anyone hurt you or treat you like an enemy?
--Can you think of a time when you hart someone or treated someone else like an enemy?
--How did Jesus handle His enemies?
--How was He able to do this?
--As Christians, how are we supposed to act towards our enemies?
--What can you do tomorrow at school when you are around your enemies to love them as a brother or sister in Christ?
-Letters to Enemies
-Announcements
-Music & Prayer
-Core meeting: I will have instructions and applications for those of you who I notified that need additional training so you can get started on that =]


Friday, April 3rd: Youth adoration in the church from 4-5pm.

Remember the EDGE Easter Party has been switched to April 15th but we still have our EDGE night "Love Your Enemies" on the 1st.

EDGE SCHEDULE CHANGE

Ok so the Easter Party has been changed. We are still having it, but Fr. Tim reminded me we can't really party during Lent so we will switch the EDGE Night "Love Your Enemies" for the Easter Party. So here's the schedule for the next couple of weeks:

Wednesday, March 25th: NO EDGE - Staff Development Day

Wednesday, April 1st: EDGE Night "Love Your Enemies" in the hall from 6:30-8:00pm. EDGE T-shirt designs are due this week!!

Wednesday, April 8th: NO EDGE - Easter Break

Wednesday, April 15th: Easter Party!!! in the hall from 6:30-8:00. Invite Your Friends!!! We will vote on T-shirts this night.

-Top 10: reasons for not participating in Mass
-Lesson: Matt
-Witness Talk: MaryAnn
-Small groups. The questions are:
--What do you think your role or duty is at Mass?
--Why do you think the Church wants people to come to Mass on time, to sing, particiapte, and stay the entire time?
--Do your respond to the prayers during Mass? Why or why not?
--Do you sing at Mass? Explain your answer?
--How would you go about convincings others to participate in the Mass
--What would be the excuses for leaving mass early? Do you think these excuses are ok?
--What do you think Mass would be like if everyone took it seriously and participated?

--What reasons would you give for not wanting to share your faith with kids your own age?
--What do you think the reasons are that so many adults don’t share the Gospel with others?
--What would it take to motivate you to share your faith in Jesus with others your age?
--Do most of your friends believe in Jesus or go to Church on Sunday?
--Do you believe your friends would be open and interested in hearing about Jesus from you? Why?
--How would you respond to a group of kids at school who were making fun of someone who was sharing their faith in Jesus?
